Jung-gu, Ulsan is like a fortress gift set because it still retains the fortresses of the Period of the Three Kingdoms, the Unified Silla, Goryeo and Joseon. Of them, Ulsaneupseong Fortress is the place where you may feel the breath of the ancestors more intensely than other fortresses. The fortress was built to protect the government offices and residents from foreign enemies. The approximately 800m ‘Eupseonggil Story Trail’ from the West Gate Site to the East Gate Site is the trail along which you can enjoy eateries as well as history and culture by visiting the filming site of the movie ‘Friends 2’ and Eatery Alley.
