Dongcheongang River
Re-created as a river for citizens
One of Ulsan’s four rivers that include the Taehwagang River, Dongcheongang River originates in Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do and runs to the lower region of the Taehwagang River by passing through Buk-gu and Jung-gu, Ulsan. With a trail along the branch of the river as well as a bike path, the Dongcheongang River is favored by Ulsan citizens. The Dongcheongang River was recreated as a place perfect for exercise as well as for taking a walk with a bike practice ground. Green barley and rape flowers present a superb view against the river backdrop in spring. Furthermore, the Dongcheon Bike Culture Center is located on the Dongcheongang riverside. With a bike rental center and rest area, everyone can easily use a bike even when they come to the riverside without their own bikes.
