Hamwolru Sunrise
Hamwolru hosts a sunrise event on Jan. 1 every year. Starting with the sharing of well-wishes after greeting the first sunrise of the new year, a variety of events are deployed including sending up balloons praying for the peace of the community, congratulatory performances, a poetry reading, drum performance, vocal music and ensembles. Moreover, it will be a meaningful time to participate in events including writing a prayer, a post box for hope postcards, and sending up wish balloons, as well as sharing events including a sharing hope penny box and sharing rice cake soup.
