Ulsan Maduhee Festival
Enjoy a variety of cultural events held here and there on the streets in the former downtown of Ulsan for 3 days. The Ulsan Maduhee Festival offers a variety of programs including performances, parades, traditional games and a coffee festival. The highlight is the reproduction of Maduhee. Maduhee was performed in front of an inn for the peace of the region since the period before Joseon was founded. Ulsan Keunjung Pulling is a kind of unity game. It has been reproduced since 2012 as a festival and is a large scale event. About 1,500 citizens are divided into two teams, the East Team and West Team, on Hakseong-ro near Clock Tower in the downtown area. Professional actors offer pleasure to audiences through humorous performances.
