Wonyugok Food Street
Wonyugok was famous as a village without crime where about 50 households had a simple life of farming before the formation of Innovation City.
As large apartment complexes were built and about 10 public organizations moved in after the formation of Innovation City, various kinds of restaurants started to open for office workers and residents. It is widely known that gourmet restaurants mostly target office workers. The street is filled with restaurants for side dishes including Korean bacon, steamed seafood and seasoned pigs’ feet and meals including pork cutlet, Kimchi stew and Andong noodle soup. Even at this moment, the food masters have been engaged in the ‘best man wins’ competition with the taste and service for securing royal customers in Wonyugok Street.
